Like popular panchanga apps, websites and printed almanacs, this view uses the Traditional Lahiri ayanamsa, the official one: the value India's Calendar Reform Committee fixed for 21 March 1956, carried forward each year by precession as the Indian Astronomical Ephemeris publishes it. It takes sunrise as the moment the upper edge of the Sun appears on the horizon, allowing for atmospheric refraction. Its dates and timings then match the calendar most people follow.
Lahiri is also defined another way, as True Lahiri/Chitrapaksha, which keeps the star Chitra (Spica) at exactly 0° Libra. The two are about a minute of arc apart today, enough to move nakshatra and yoga end times by a minute or two. For personal charts, the "True Chitra Paksha" choice in calculation settings is True Lahiri. Both names follow Jagannatha Hora.
Personal charts on Vedic Astro Bot default to the Pushya-paksha ayanamsa and a sunrise when the centre of the Sun is truly on the horizon, the default in Jagannatha Hora. Pushya-paksha is about 1.1° from Lahiri, which can shift nakshatra and yoga end times by a couple of hours and, near a sign boundary, the Moon sign itself. The two sunrises are a few minutes apart, which moves Rahu Kalam, horas and other sunrise-based timings by those minutes. Signed-in users can change their chart settings under calculation settings.
